Yes!! I have achieved something I've been trying to do for almost twenty years. It'll sounds strange when I tell you, but here goes.

The lunch lady back in high school used to make the most amazing cinnamon rolls. They had a gooey caramel topping and weren't adulterated with nuts or raisins. They were just amazing, and I've been trying to duplicate them for years and years.

I think I'm finally close. The dough just needs a little tweaking now, but I've finally got the topping nearly right.

Frosting is for lightweights. Carmel with some substance to it is truly the way to go. Heavenly!
