The things I sometimes miss about Chicago:
1) The aquarium
2) The cheap food
3) The parties with friends
4) The field museum
5) The lakeshore
The things I never miss about Chicago:
1) The traffic
2) The crush of humanity
3) The rejection of reality - yes, snow does fall in Chicago. Maybe you should plan on where to put it when you have to plow every year. Somewhere other than on top of the cars parked on the side of the road.
4) The dirt/dust/air pollution
5) Oh, the agony of parking!

I remember when Susan and I came to visit and you were paying more for your parking space than we were paying for our apartment! glad you escaped.
