Books: Sent off a short story to an online science fiction magazine. They rejected my last effort, but this one's new and different and probably more their style. I don't really mind submitting work - it's the wait that I hate. Trying to focus on other things. Doing a photo shoot this weekend on a picture book my sister thought up. I really like having time to do these off-the-wall personal projects.

It's always interesting to see how other people view things you consider normal. Sarah got adventurous and came to visit me. Some of her thoughts on the subject are now available on her blog. It seems to all come down once again to the simple question... can I be trusted? I mean, really....

Books: I started taking an "advanced fiction writing" class this week. Also I'm involved in Hatch Fest which is basically in my back yard. Best quote of the festival so far, "All art is subversive."
