Pictures

I have some very friendly neighbors. These are some pictures of the newest and friendliest.

Not a very good picture. It was evening, and he was backlit so that the setting sun was lighting up his fur. He was posing so beautifully I just had to get my camera, but the lighting was very tricky - and as you can see, there was just too much movement in this shot.

So I tried using my flash, but that reflected off the sliding glass doors that lead from my livingroom/dining room to my tiny little patio. I was trying to get the deck chairs in the shot so you could get a sense of scale - he's a really little bunny (in a really unmowed lawn).

He got curious about the flash and ran over to the door to see what was so exciting going on inside. I managed to get another picture of him.

After that last picture (where I had to use the flash because he just wouldn't hold still long enough for a really long exposure in the low light) he shook his head to clear his eyes and put his front feet up on the glass to get a better look. What a charmer!
