The seasons do a little mingling in the Rockies. Sure it's fall, but we've already had the first snow, and that brings on winter thoughts:

This is the house where I lived in Chicago for several years.

That's the house across the street. It only started getting renovated recently. But the whole time I lived on the block at least one house was getting a lot of work done.

It's a pretty typical less-than-upper-crust Chicago neighborhood. Notice only one person on this street has shoveled the sidewalk at all.

When it's sunny, this place almost looks cheerful.
